Ceremonies
Civil ceremonies in Italy mainly take place in the town hall of the city chosen for the wedding. In Lecce, for example, they take place in a building which is a former monastery and belongs to the Municipality.
Catholic ceremonies in Italy can only be performed in a church and foreign citizens can get married in Italy according to Catholic rites if bride and groom are Catholic.
It's also possible organize symbolic ceremonies that are not legally binding but are the right choice for those who wish to personalize the ceremony and do not wish to spend much time in completing all the paperwork normally required for Religious and Civil weddings.
