Oil tasting in a modern oil-mill in the Itria Valley
In a modern oil-mill situated in the Itria Valley you will learn more about the production of olive oil according to the most recent technologies.
At the end of the visit of the oil-mill you will enjoy an olive-oil tasting session inside one of the trullis (typical Apulian cone-shaped buildings) of the 17th century: five types of oil are offered along with bread, friselline (traditional Apulian bakery products), olives and cherry tomatoes.
At this oil-mill it is also possible to enjoy a snack based on typical local products (bread, focaccia, 2 kinds of cold cuts, 3 kinds of vegetables stored in oil, cheese, small mozzarellas, water and wine).
