Terms and Conditions
The conditions here indicated ("Terms and Conditions") govern all the bookings and purchases of the products of Albatravel Lecce Srl through the website www.albatravelapulia.com.
Please carefully read the following.
 

Definitions

Client refers to the Buyer of products through the website
Product/products refer to the hotels, apartments, villas, homes, land services such us scheduled and private transfers, tours, guided visits, excursions and all the different activities bookable and payable on the Website
Website refers to www.albatravelapulia.com
Company refers to Albatravel Lecce Srl, with the main office in Lecce, Via Edoardo De Candia 39 (company registration number 229955; VAT number 03569420759)
 

Registration

In order to book and purchase the products, the Client must register on the Website, filling in requested data.
At the end of the registration process, a user id and password will be supplied which will allow access to the Website.
 

Product Information

The Client may book and purchase products for individuals and/or group travellers up to a maximum of 9 people.
In the event that the Client decides to purchase products for groups over 9 people, it is required to send a request to the following email: incoming.le@albatravel.it
The products booked and purchased on the Website are provided by third parties, those which communicate to the Company all the relative information.
The Company takes all reasonable care to ensure that the information supplied is correct however the Company cannot accept liability for omissions or errors in the description of accommodations or travel services available on the Website.
 

Reservations

All of the reservation requests and/or purchases of the products must be communicated to the Company within 72 hours from the first date of use.
For example: the booking of a product that will be used on the 10th day of a given month, must arrive by 23.59 on the 6th day of the same month.
The Company will inform the Client of the acceptance of the booking by sending a confirmation email and the booking number to the registered email.
 
The purchase of the product/s is considered complete once the payment has been finalized by the client. Failure to pay within the time indicated by the Company will result in automatic cancellation of the booking, unless otherwise agreed.
The Company reserves the right to cancel all the bookings inserted with the intent to block space.
In order to use the purchased product, it is necessary to print the purchase confirmation with booking number (voucher) and provide it to the product supplier.
 

Price and Payment Method

The prices of the products indicated on the Website are always at net price and include local taxes and services.
The city tax (where requested) is not included and it must be paid on the spot by the client .
The amount due is well specified in your booking. It can occur that the price of a product displayed "on request" at the moment of purchase will be different from the price indicated at the moment of booking - for example, due to scarce availability of the product. In any case, the Client has the option to not confirm the requested purchase without any penalty. In Italy, the family plan accommodation (two parents and one child in the same room) might have an additional charge for the third bed. The additional charge is customarily applied to children between 2 and 12 years of age. If the age of the child is not correctly indicated at the time of the booking and involves an additional charge, the hotel might request the payment before leaving the hotel or send a bill.
 
In some cases it may occur that the hotel does not apply an additional charge for a third bed but will apply an additional charge for breakfast.
If the hotel does not provide for the family plan accommodation (2 adt + 2 chd), the reservation will be automatically rejected.
The prices of the hotel rooms may vary depending on their availability, therefore it may occur that the price paid may be higher than that shown in the hotel. In no such case will the Company reimburse the difference, being similar prices agreed with the hotel on their annual base, without the chance/opportunity of revision.
 
The bookings must be paid with credit card , unless otherwise agreed; the accepted credit cards are indicated on the Website.
The purchase confirmation and therefore successful payment outcome by credit card will be sent by email.
The amount will be charged only after the Company has sent an email confirming that the booking of the requested product/s has taken place.
 

Refunds

Refunds will be automatically placed on the credit card used at the time of payment or by wire transfer - the process may take up to 2 to 5 business days.
 

Product Amendments and/or Cancellations

The Client may cancel the booking carried out through the Website by the manner and terms indicated in the booking itself.
The conditions and terms for booking cancellation are clearly indicated in the description of the product which is contained in the booking confirmation.
The Client cannot cancel the booking directly with the product supplier; such cancellations will not be valid.
The Company will refund – if a refund is due – only the cancellations that are communicated to the Company.
 

Changes and/or Amendments of Hotels

(i) Bookings waiting confirmation (in process)
The cancellation and/or modification of bookings in process is not subject to penalties.
(ii) Confirmed bookings
Confirmed bookings, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation, may be cancelled up to three days before the first day of usage (arrival in hotel).
Such terms may nonetheless vary depending on the type of hotel and/or the duration of stay.
(iii) Amendments and/or cancellations before payment
Bookings modified and/or cancelled before payment is due are not subject to any penalties.
(iv) Amendments and/or cancellations after payment
Bookings cancelled and/or amended after payment has been made but before the release deadline of the space will be fully refunded with the exception of a 30,00 Euro deduction as a handling fee.
(v) Amendments and/or cancellations beyond the booking release deadline
If bookings are cancelled and/or amended after the release, the Client will be charged the price of the first night for each each room reserved. 
Any change of traveller's names will be subject to the acceptance on part of the accommodation provider.
(vi) Amendments and/or cancellations during trade fairs or special events
If bookings are cancelled and/or amended during dates coinciding with trade fairs and/or special events, the Client will be charged the entire cost of the booking.
The request for more rooms/beds/nights for those already confirmed is not subject to a cancellation penalty but to the availability of the accommodation facility.
During the period of trade fairs and/or special events, traveller name changes are not allowed.
Changes and/or Amendments of (i) scheduled Transfers, Guided Tours and Activities (ii) taylor-made Transfers, Tours and Activities
(i) Bookings waiting confirmation (in process)
The cancellation and/or modification of bookings in process is not subject to penalties.
(ii) Confirmed bookings
Confirmed bookings, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation, may be cancelled up to three days from the first day of usage. The cancellation date is clearly indicated on the booking and in the confirmation email.
(iii) Amendments and/or cancellations before payment
Bookings modified and/or cancelled before payment is due are not subject to any penalties.
(iv) Amendments and/or cancellations after payment
Bookings cancelled and/or amended after the payment has been made but before the release deadline of the service will be fully refunded with the exception of a 30,00 Euro deduction as a handling fee.
(v) Amendments and/or cancellations beyond the booking release deadline and/or during trade fairs or special events
In the event of cancellation and/or amendments made after the release deadline, the Client will be charged for the entire cost of the booking.
If special conditions exist in connection with a particular service, the Client will be informed of this at the booking stage.
 
SPECIAL OFFERS AND RESTRICTIONS
Special offers are subject to availability.
Possible restrictions are indicated in the offer details present on the Website.
 

VOUCHERS

The Company recommends that the consumer is given the voucher/s in order to receive the booked service. It is possible that with the lack of the voucher, the product supplier may request the payment again; in case of hotels, room may not be assigned due to failure to provide the voucher.
Vouchers cannot be modified.
 
The voucher shows the name of the product supplier, the company responsible for payment and the booking number assigned by the Company during the reservation process.
All of the products indicated on the voucher will be billed regardless of partial usage, for example overnight stays will charged for all the nights booked.
Accommodation suppliers may request payment for all of the booked nights particularly during trade fairs and special events.
In case of early departure, the consumer is advised requested to obtain written confirmation from the accommodation supplier – to avoid any unnecessary problems.
 

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints regarding booking, if possible, should be addressed from the end consumer directly to the product supplier. Please write to: incoming.le@albatravel.it.
If neither the consumer nor the Client are able to resolve the problem in a reasonable manner, the Client is requested to inform the Company via email in the shortest time possible and within 20 business days from the date the service or accommodation was booked for.
The Company will acknowledge a receipt of the message.
 
A response to the complaint will be dealt as quickly as possible and a conclusive reply will be sent to later then 15 working days from the date of the complaint receipt.
In principle the Company will avoid all direct contact with the consumer. If this contact occurs, the Company will inform the Client.
The company will not take into consideration complaints sent beyond these terms.
 

RESPONSABILITY

The Company shall not be liable for personal injury, illness, property damage or any other loss (direct or indirect) or expense arising out of actions of hotels, transportation companies or other suppliers providing services through the Company unless such loss is due to the Company negligence or default.
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations, which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as such circumstances: acts of God, outbreak of hostilities, riots, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, revolutions, acts of any government or authority (including but not limited to refusal or revocation or any license or consent), fires, floods, epidemics, lightning, explosions, fog or bad weather, interruptions or failures of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovations undertaken by the accommodation providers, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, blockades.
 

PERSONAL DATA

The Company is committed to treat Client information with respect to law 196 of 2003 (Code of Privacy) and all other applicable laws.
 

APPLICABLE LAW

The present terms and conditions are regulated by Italian law.
Conditions for Regular Sightseeing and private tours (if it is not differently specified)
 
1. CANCELLATIONS: 100% penalty for cancellation within 72h before service date.
Cancellations must be sent via email to Albatravel Lecce and Albatravel Lecce will have to confirm the receipt of the request.
(BOOKING OFFICE OPENING TIMES: from Monday to Friday from 09.00 am to 07.30 pm italian time)
2. NO SHOW: 100% penalty.
3. REFUND: no refund will be granted for the following circumstances:
- No show of clients at tour’s departing time.
- In case clients get lost during the tour.
- In case clients decide to leave the tour before its end.
In any case maximum refund available will be the cost of tour itself. 
4. COMPLAINT: All complaints must be forwarded to Albatravel Lecce Office within 7 days from tour date.Address to: incoming.le@albatravel.it
Albatravel Lecce will not accept any complaint after that term.
5. ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS: In case of acts of force majeure (strikes, road conditions, weather…) Albatravel Lecce may modify the itinerary with alternative solutions maintaining duration and quality of the service.
In case tour will include entrances to Museums/Churches, Albatravel will not be responsible for delays or closures due to those Institutions.
6. VOUCHERS: Clients should arrive at Albatravel Lecce meeting point 15 minutes before tour departing time with tour’s voucher, showing Albatravel Lecce voucher. No refund will be granted for following circumstances: no show of clients at tour’s departing time, in case clients get lost during the tour and in case clients decide to leave the tour before its end. 
7. PRICES: The tours include all what clearly specified in “the tour includes”.
8. MINIMUM PARTICIPANTS: If the minimum of pax will be not reached Albatravel Lecce could cancel the tour within 72h before the date of the tour.
Albatravel Lecce will refund clients or could confirm the tour with a supplement. In any case Albatravel Lecce will provide an alternative.
9. TOUR ON REQUEST: Albatravel Lecce will confirm all tours within 72h after the request.
 

Specific Conditions for Private Transfers:

No charges for cancellation within 72 hours from the date of service.
No-show: 100% penalty.
Maximum waiting time: 1 hour after flight arrival time, then driver will be released.
Only 1 luggage per person is allowed.
Driver will wait for clients in airport arrival hall or in front of train track or hotel reception with name board.
Rates includes: vat.
Rates don’t include: driver’s meals and hotel refund, city taxes, frontier, tunnels, boat, transportations tolls, parking, porterage.
